BNN reports Fairfax Financial is now taking the view that this is the bottom. That of course relates to the main TSE and N.Y. market.

In the past the venture exchange has not responded until big swings in the major markets have calmed. That might be about 2 weeks hence.

Is this the time to increase one's position? Tough to tell. Many individuals wiser than I have said that it is sometimes prudent to miss the first 10 percent of the recovery rather than get caught up in a minor upswing. In this case that might mean a 10 percent rise in the venture index.

Have to admit though that given the absence of news releases it is very tempting to add at these levels in order to be in position should the news be positive and be released during any market recovery period.
