It 's all in good fun, I'm pretty sure you couldn't find a single person who was offended on this forum. Any other forum, perhaps, but not this one!!!

I happen to know persons for whom English is their mother tongue, and only the ONLY language they speak, and they still manage to mangle pronunciation, phrases, and cliches. I have a storehouse of some hysterical malapropisms that I can't believe I actually heard. So don't feel bad....maybe I'll post some of those in OT later.

Anyways, I believe the saying you were looking for was "Sorry to burst your bubble"
