Today (now), Thursday, September 4th, after the end of the trading day, (e.g. 6 pm on September 4th, 2008) you will see a new American Bulls "prediction".

If you didn't know it was a complete scam, you would assume that the "prediction" will be telling you the price action for KXL on Friday, September 5.

But - if you keep track, and check after a couple days, you will see that their (after-trading-hours) September 4th prediction is registered by them and evaluated for how well it predicts prices on September 4th - not September 5th.

Remember, the Sept 4th prediction comes out after the end of trading.

The sleight of hand is: it is only us, those who visit their site, who assume that when they make a "prediction", they are talking about tomorrow. We want to believe that it works. We want to believe they're talking about tomorrow.

Magicians work on our assumptions - we want to believe they can fly or make coins come out of their ears or whatever. That is the nature of illusion - we want to believe it.
