Go over to the off topic board and follow the posts between Sinbadsgold and Portee44 on naked shorting..

I tryed to explain a little what happens in the trading process when stocks are bought and sold and why the share certificates are so important and the transfer agents roll (To record,transfer,handle each transaction and the physical location of the share certificate..)..

People sometimes get confused over the share certificates..and how they work..

There are a zillion rules about stock certificates and laws and rules but I have tryed to lay it out in general layman terms.,.
