Personally I do not see the value they are trying to give by sumperimposing KXL vs other gold mines(red Lake) in terms of gold versus depth(see slides 13 AND 14). Slide 13 shows that in the Geraldton area the mines only went about 2000 feet deep. Then on slide 29 they contradict this by stating that the Leitch mine was 4500 deep(which is in the same area, right?)
I personally would have liked instead to see the depth, grades, etc of the various mines that in the past were operated in the same area. If past mines in the general region also were deep with higher grades at depth, yes then I would have seen that as a positive for the Hercules area. Instead slide 13 to me implies that the mines in the area were shallow and since they did not go deeper, something must have made the people stop digging deeper.(although this is contradicted by the slide about the Leitch mine)
I don't know if there is available statistics of all(most) Ontario gold mines, name, location, ounces mined, grade, dept, years of operation.
To conclude, the May 22 presentation could in my opinion have been done differently if one of the purposes where to show that at dpeth things will even be better.
Also starting to be a bit impatient about the lack of news. Hoping for a good week
