Sit on that gold, Goldbull55! It could be a while before the market settles and turns in the proper direction again. It's not the end of the universe yet, though, I'd say, especially if you really do have that gold in your backyard!

The market will do what it does, so all you can do is wait it out (or sell off if that's what makes you breathe more easily). If history is any indication, it will go up again and bring some/all the stocks you own with it.

But for me the good news about KXL is that even with a bearish market, when more good results show themselves the SP will surely rise back up. You are talking about gold here, not IT stocks or banks. If the POG is up through the recession (or whatever it is going to be) and the company keeps up with the good assays, then people should be buying in.
