I wouldn't doubt that many people could come up with many theories but when someone in the know buys this many shares at these prices I have to believe that he expects to make money not lose it. I'm not sure that I need to know much more but...another theory...

The more shares Richardson owns, the more votes he will have when a buyout offer comes along. He may have a price in mind that he wants before he will give up his shares and I hope it's real high.

Remember as well that the company could potentially be split into 2 or 3 companies which would leave him in a strong position in the new companies as well! Maybe? Rico
