I hate to be nitpicky, especially as I am long PEM, and think it holds great value.
However:
a) I don't think PEM owns the land, only the mineral rights on the land.
b) I don't think that those rights give them the right to the trees.
I may be wrong, as I am no expert on these things, so be sure to do your own due diligence. And if you are an expert, please give us the straight facts.
Even so, it does seem somewhat paradoxical that the trees on this land are valued more than the identified gold, not to mention the (as yet) undiscovered gold likely to be there.
