I think one of the the main problems people have trouble relating to stems from the notion that this is somehow a "free speach" environment. It is not.

Agoracom is a private "for Profit" web space. It operates it's forums and 6 pretty basic rules. The rules have to be enforced, to some lesser or greater degree, by the Hub Leaders.

If they do not do so, Admin. steps in and does so, with the provisio that the forum will be shut down if it does not stay within the rule framework.

The off topic forum is the place for the various and sundry topics and opinions and is much more open to interpretaion of the 6 rules! :-)
