I hate to say this since I'm also not a big fan of Mr. Wonderful, "BUT" in four year's time Justin will have racked up a lot of budget deficit's and mortgaged the future the same way his daddy did! With that being said, Quebec almost always controls the outcome of federal elections and Mr. Wonderful like Justin also hails from Labelle Province. So the likelihood of taxpayer exhaustion before the next election mixed with the probability of O'leary being able to split the Quebec vote (or at least come up with 30%) would create a scenario where he could conceivably win.
With the current state of Canadian poltic's being what it is today, the Mulroney kid's are talking about making a run for the leadership (do we need more entry level neophytes who were born with silver spoons in their mouths and supposed birth rights taking over the highest office in the land?) And lets not forget Rob Ford will more than likely turn up again, he stated a while back that becoming Prime Minister was a future goal!
So with the above being mentioned O'leary might not be a bad choice to turn the economy around in 4 year's time. Yes he can be a jerk and yes his ego is larger than the Athabaska basin, but he is a selfmade businessman that would create economic opportunities and not drive them away!
