Yes, micromanagement could potentially stifle innovation and hinder Suresh's autonomy. However a good CEO can play a supportive role internally, while ensuring a rock solid corporate and public-facing structure of the company to drive new investment. Improving the efficiency can be achieved without compromising Suresh's ability to make critical decisions and lead scientifically. A healthy balance is needed.
