The plan was to use SPX as a contract manufacturer and add a China +1. I have not heard anything different so far but I think something could be announced at any time.
Remember the big advantage for POET is performance, cost and the ability to produce pluggable modules well beyond the existing capacities that are currently available...They are proving that they can meet a road map that others can't.
People talk about the biggest barrier for POET being the limited funding that they have received. I see it as proof that this advanced technology can be developed at the lowest cost that industry has seen.
Production outside of China can be set up very quickly with the right partners who need the kind of products that POET is demonstrating.
This is not a science experiment. It is real and they are proving that they are up to the task.
