That's absolutely right, an advantage and a problem.

A problem because a lot of solutions, a lot of little companies, a lot of different approaches to optoelectronics are coming up. No investor knows If one of the big players will win big or which tiny technoboutique will take profit. Fragmented and hard for Poet to be visible.

An advantage because as far as we know Poet is the most versatile solution for numerous problems. So whatever path(es) will bei chosen as industry standard, Poet will be a good companion. Not a bad starting point, but not much more than a starting point right now. I hoped we were further down that path by now but it seems a lot of dust hast to settle first.
