It is also interesting to me that CAI is advancing to PAM4 as this reintroduces the need for a DSP. One would think no retimers required so maybe we are talking next gen super efficient DSPs with reduced latency.

We  need AI to solve some of these technical pluses and minuses. The thing is so many people seem to be going in different directions. Again we can be confident that POET is well positioned for industry to take multiple paths because it can be mixed and matched much quicker and at lower cost than conventional monolithic silicon photonics platforms.
