Rainer, I believe you are right. I believe the technologists who run the company believed that the advancements they're announcing would result in significant interest and investment.
This is logical to them because they have a full understanding of the significance of the development and the impact on company value this SHOULD have. As stated on this board previously, the market doesn't value tech that the market doesn't understand. The market can't fully recognize the implication of these developments. Market wants revenue.
Regardless, these developments Will lead to significant orders after POCs are completed and the technology is validated by companies who plan to integrate POET into thier solutions. And once this is done, POET will be very "sticky" - it will be very difficult and costly to remove POET from thier solutions. We know some of these vendors already, and there will be more.
To me, this early stage sp drop is simply a result of misunderstanding and fatigue. But the company is gradually developing tech, and this tech is being thoroughly vetted by numerous technology partners/customers, and in the grand scheme of a long term investment, we are not that far away from experiencing the begining of explosive catalysts.
That's my opinion. I continue to research the market, but I haven't changed my opinion yet. And I keep buying at these values.
