Paragon Value Stock Strategy
We also manage a proprietary value stock strategy. The strategy uses behavioral finance principles, in that it uses a quantitative stock screening model that removes emotions and biases from the investment process.
The strategy identifies cheap US stocks that are simply out of favor (rather than cheap because of financial difficulties). We then hold the stocks for at least a full year to give them time to come back into favor, and to get more favorable capital gains tax treatment.
