I second that. There are opportunities and achievements that POET is up to. Why are we not "promoting" these well deserved achievements when we have that opportunity.
It's a normal thing to do. Even if it's not pushing the SP (that's fine) but it raises awareness for POET in the long term. People will recognize POET more likely and know there is constant flow of news and progress reporting. The investment community likes those things. Especially nowadays.
It's not unsubstantial "pumping". It's shouting from the rooftops what has been achieved.
I just don't know why we don't.
That communication strategy has changed when TM took over as CFO. And that was fine for a long time when POET was R&D / in Stealth Mode / etc.
But I understood we are not anymore. I understood we are ready to promote now. I understood we want to find ways how POET can be heard better. I understood our CFO doesn't understand why we are not yet valued at 1 billion as we should be.
I am not saying that NR's about patents or additions to Funds (investment funds) will do the trick. But again, why not trying at least and let the investment community know? Other companies do exactly that.
Not complaining at all. Just trying to understand.
