MtnView:  "PS Thanks to Okiedo - our in-house Mandarin translator!!"

As much as I would like to be able to take claim for that translation, MtnView, my level of Mandarin recognition and expression is "elementary" at best and almost non existent on a bad day.  I love studying Mandarin, but since I have absolutely no facility for languages ( Mandarin or any other language, English being hardly an exception ) I must respond to a complement that I don't deserve.

I simply went to mandarin to english - Bing

Sure, I recognized some of the characters, but so few as to be meaningless without my trusty friend, Bing translator.

I will continue, with a very old and resistant brain, to study Mandarin since for my advanced years Mandarin is valued for the journey and not the destination.
