Its all good stuff we should all know and seems to me to have been recently updated.

This technology is all ready to go into other companies components, that is if they are wise enough to recognise its clear benefits, these are also spelt out in the reference by the way. My point is they need design wins to work with whatever component envisaged by the given company and then tweak it to the specification required by the client.  To me, The Optical Interposer, Optical engine, whatever is produced by the POET platform approach is the horse that does the work, the component produced the cart. i.e. POET sells designs.  Its shareholders are going to do very well when the industry realises just how good the designs are and the companies that engage with POET designs will profit and prosper too.
