Under SV Poet has always been doing their job. Because we have mostly been in an information vaccuum, for most of the right reasons for Poet, we set ourselves up for disappointment. Poet has been slow and steady to win the race. Poet has disclosed only what it can so far and the NRs of the past few years show progress and hope. Actually since SV took over Poet has moved rapidly and steadily. We just have been shareholders so long that it feels slow. Why does it feel slow? When you try to do it right the first time it requires discipline, methodology, and the inherent expertise that SV has given endlessly to Poet and the team he has assembled around him. When a stock has gone up from its recent lows in the middle of a world crisis, like never before, it forecasts to me a sense of huge success for Poet as long as we have a civilization to return to when this viral pandemic is flattened to a more manageable level. I feel that even when the economy starts to re-energize that this virus will need constant attention to prevent other episodes that shut down most of the economy. Poet is likely in a sweet spot since its solution will help data centres throughput more data at less cost.
