The significance of the last news release has been to change the mood of the board completely, wonderful! Not a glum word in sight.  The new confidence has, I suspect, resulted in some former followers reinvesting and some longs adding to their current positions which has got the SP pushing into the low forty cents but not for long!

Management have signalled a gathering of partners and analysts on the sixth of March, and to my mind and logic it would seem that just which partner it is that has been the focus of management's attention and has been the priority for work in progress since the announcement of first customers for POET OI prototypes in November 2018, will be revealed or it will become increasingly difficult to hide when going so public.  

The start of the new year has brought a rash of PR from the main players in PIC development where they have divulged their intentions for 400g in the Ethernet market. A market they all predict to be humongous.  Their wish list for technical developments to achieve this goal, to my ear at least, sounds distinctly like POET's offering that is now firmly in the hands of Customer One With the sounds of twelve other possible customers banging on the door labelled "floodgates opening" there can be no doubt that  SV's timing has been impeccable, helped perhaps by the fortuitous, six month lag in demand.  

Who amongst us can honestly say, even whilst in the midst of the inevitable pooh traps and slips and arrows of outrageous fortune that life can bring, that this may be POET investors' finest hour. It would seem that my fortunes and those of many other longs here, have gone from 'mad to invest' to 'mad to not be invested' in PTK.  

Just one months more patience is needed after, for me, seven and a half years of faith in the common sense of investing in PTI's leading edge photonics technology to see the promised land.
