From my point of view once POET has complete prototypical 400G optical engines in service at their Tier 1 customer they will need to grow production very quickly to satisfy orders. At that point in time the market will become very aware of the POET solution and instead of POET looking for money to accelerate the business including moving forward with the next generation of devices there will be funds who will want to make large investments. I think once it happens it will be very quick.
Considering what Suresh's R&D budget used to be in his previous job he has had to become very clever in how he spends money with POET. They have managed to put into place a supply chain and operations in multiple locations. Testing on a very high priced piece of equipment continues today at Bill Ring's university.
There is just so much to look forward to here. They have done so much with so little.
We should be very thankful and continue to focus on the future. It is not that far away considering what it is they are building.
