So, if that's not the case, forgetting about why some of us thought the qualification period had already begun, what is the estimate of the time before the prototypes are in the hands of the customers that will be doing the qualification?  

And, for those who know this area pretty well, how long does it take a piece of tech like the IO to be qualified, assuming things go smoothly.  Naturally, there likely will be bumps in the road, but assuming no bumps, how long does qualification take?
