I gave some thought about the theme of posts here lately, and overall the thinking has been very healthy, pragmatic, and at least we have tempered enthusiasm compared to before. The reason for that is our understanding has grown and that has been leading to better quality posts and clarity among us now. Even people that never quite agreed with one another here are seeing eye-to-eye now.
I liken POET to that of a company that literally is building out a new infrastructure for others to adopt. That is why this company is still poised to great success eventually, soon, or whatever other adverb you want to use. That being said, it is like POET was working in darkness, like a volcano emerging underwater at the bottom of the ocean building upwards, like what is happening in Hawaii. Then, suddenly, the islands appear. Then results (products) grow on these islands. Then huge oceanliners stacked to the sky with Maersk containers begin global shipments of POET inside a host of manufacturers' product familes. That is where I realistically see POET going. It has been a long journey, and the results will be worth it (I predict).
