Dear Rick,
You are forever calling for key management figures to resign, with SV being your current target. I can understand you venting your fraustration with SP progress but advocating such a notion would be far more damaging to this company than those that the vagaires of market perceptions can inflit on our little company in what is the notoriously fickle field of technical venture.
SV's experience during the lab to fab stage has been a massive learning curve for him and from my point of view he is now the torch carrier of POET knowledge, a position previously held by GT, who whilst I hope he is still connected technically as a consultant I doubt that he wants to be actively involved for whatever reason What you are advocating then amounts to shooting your prime stalion. You could find another stallion but not one with the experience of the hurdles or the course to be run. Better the devil you know I say.
Most realise we are primed for change and time just has to tick by to determine whether the aquisitions policy SV is pursueing will lead to significant revenue. We will have to wait until Q2 and probably the next AGM to truely take stock and this make judgement. Meanwhile in the short term partnerships may provide the impedus to SP that we all desire but there are no guarantees here.
Whilst we are so poised I just cannot accept that magagment change would be of any benefit what so ever. Lets reserve our judgement at least until the AGM and give the guy the three years that are reasonably needed to implement the ideas and focus he brought to PTI.
