Message: POET suggestion

Yesterday I submitted the following suggestion to POET using the website contact form:

Suggestion:

Has POET management given any thought to provide a video tutorial for investors and potential investors to help them understand the POET GaAs and dielectric platforms? I think it would be very beneficial for investors to understand that the dielectric integration involves much simpler processes than those associated with the complex GaAs vertical epi stack. In general I believe that investors are reluctant to give POET the benefit of the doubt that the dielectric platform will meet with success given the setbacks that have been experienced with the GaAs platform. Providing some of the fundamental concepts in a very basic video tutorial could go a long way to help this misperception.

The added benefit of course is one where investors will feel that POET is making the effort to help investors understand the technology. Understanding even in a general way could have a very positive effect in people seeing that the benefits POET talks about are achievable.

I will paraphrase the response highlighting the main points:

Thanks for constructive comments/suggestion which have been shared with management.

We continue to strive to package and deliver the POET story in the most simplified way possible while tailoring the message based on target audience.

We are hopeful that you will observe further progress on these efforts next week re the LD Micro Conference live webcast and new slide presentation.
