If I remember correctly, POET has in the moment without continuing their work on the GaAs platform a monthly burnrate about $700,000. If they really entered a bid for the indian tender and if they win, it not a wild guessing to think, at least by reading the article HOGAN posted, they could receive a low two digits million dollar sum. Putting this in perspective with the monthly burnrate, that would be amazing for POET.
