I am grateful for your insight on the thyristor impasse issue Shash. As you say, progress on GaAs is now down to what PTI can afford. Sobeit.
Whilst I am grateful for the decision to acquire DL and BB, as one who was attracted to POET for its ability to be the next chip I find it disappointing to be in the position where we focus on making others technology work rather than our own. The need for a development partner does rather establish that whilst the aquisitions may prove lucrative they have failed to be the 'milk cow' invisioned as the means to develop the first POET product. We are left with our old friend 'patience' whilst a solution is sought.
Whilst I remains confident that current strategy will lead to a return on investment. The truth it seems is that POET PTI bit off more than they could chew in September 15 when strategy was swiveled.
I imagine others like me are feeling glum about the turn of events announced at the AGM albeit sugar coated with prospects of DL doing 'ok'. However, there is a ray of hope in the horizon based on determining just who and what is the nature of the prospective partner .SV clearely hinted in his question responses that the Military/Aerospace sector with their own fab was what they were seeking. This brings me some cheer as we may be far further down the line to partnership and I wonder whether it is this that amounts to an industrial announcement.
India may prove to be the jewel in the crown!
