HOGAN, I believe the NRE for POET comes from the fact that our VCSEL is monolithically integrated, on GaA's, which is "disruptively" different from current VCSEL's which are patched together on sand.

This monolithic "engine" can be used in several, if not countless, different ways.

I don't have any special knowledge of NRE other than what I have read, and learned here.
