It would seem to me a trader or traders  would quietly buy 50k or 100k shares per day and not run the price up as opposed to buying 1.4 million shares in one day while running the price up to .40 plus cents ,especially when the average volume at the time was only about 300 k shares per day.. If they were in a big hurry to buy before the news,, where is the news ??  These run-ups have happened before and I am sure there is a reason for them and would love to know why.. Mysteries of the stock market , I guess..
