Message: The hiring continues

These are all good posts to let the shareholders, who are far flung throughout the world, know the intensity of change going on at DL. When we were in Singapore, DL had less than 65 employess as I recall. The lastest numbers put it at about 90 plus. The glassdoor revue ,pleading for a lot more employees is consistent with communication with an aquaintence I made there who would like to see twice that many employees, including 10 to 15 more engineers, to help reduce the stress and work load on the present work force.

And now the ads for employees stress the need to work shifts. As well, the "scolding" referred to is, at least in my opinion, is indicative of the pressure the new management team is under to meet timelines. They still need, it appears, a bullet proof flow charting sysyem and related documentaion, but that is also, in my experience with "rapid depoyment" management, a byproduct of doing system catch up after the initial objectives are in place.

And all this by a company that has a tight (lets face it, shoestring) budget and yet is confident of their ability to get prototypes out, product manufacturing ramped up and finance themselves, at least to the end of this year and confident (or scared) enough to have a "walk the walk, not talk the talk" IR policy

A lot of my opinion mixed in with limited hard facts to analyse, but my view has always been glass half full with the tempering of Occam's razor.
