The production of prototypes in the company overview remains in 2017.  

My understanding is that a company undertaking an evaluation of a POET prototype would need time to complete that assessment, carry out an appreciation and if go, make and subseqently execute an implemantation plan etc.  Such processes, which no doubt would have been discussed by SV when meeting potential customers, puts the adoption of a POET product by a customer into 2018 as a rational time to execution analysis.

That said I still see no reason why SV might not announce the availability of a POET prototype at PIC given the potential customers listening.  This is a hope and you are quite right to clarify that it is DL and BB products which are currently highlighted.
