Dear, ITTR
You may be aware that IC projects are conducted in distinct phases. I see no difficulty in using the term 'on the cusp' in two entirely different phases of company development. We can similarly see this phased approach in the company life cycle.
In Nov 13 the company was in its technical development lab based phase which gave rise to many patents and Technical Milestones achieved at Stoors.
Today,, as I explained, we are entering a new phase of commercialistion beyond the Lab to Fab phase in POET Technologies Inc's life cycle.
Commercialisation means you have a workable product, a market for that product, a means of fabricating and distributing that product through a sales sales to Customers.
In Nov 13 it was all about IP today it's all about products. Strategically swivilling the company in Sep 15.to commercialisation was a significant change from the previous stance of selling IP only. It meant many more structures had to be in place and that clearly this would take time to establish. It's taken almost eighteen months. We are now on the cusp of a change in PTI'S life cycle.
If you wish to disemble my argument. I think you need to think more deeply about where we are in the phased nature of this company development rather than delight in discovering that I have used a phrase twice in four years. Which is hardly overuse of a cherished cliché. We may then get more benefit and intelligence from your posts.
with regards
Sula
