It is understandable why there hasn't been an announcement for the VCSEL, - because so far Poet has not met their own criteria.   But the IR detector is another matter.   Could it be that Poet wants to produce the detector at Denselight, perhaps wraped up as a complete product for sale?  That would go along with the stated objective of being a producer, rather than just licensing out production elsewhere, and that could be the reason for the delay as they attempt to become a producer of a Poet product, out of Singapore?
