Message: Here we are on April 28

What a day, I think the market expectations might have been way too high after the lengthy trading halt, and may have caused early disappointment and the SP decline. I'm glad we finished up, especially considering the first SP I saw today was $0.97 which was pretty awful. Junkers had mentioned that he had not seen such a bounce back before with POET. This did happen at least once before as I recall the rollar coaster ride. This was on August 7, 2014 where the low was $0.90 and the high (and close) was $1.37.

The NR caught me off gaurd, and I'm not sure what to think of all of this, but I am glad they included the reference to the upcoming Town Hall meeting, looking forward to that, and it is not that far off. This NR will certainly give more exposure to POET. Bottom line for me is that I trust the management, so I will leave it at that and wait, rather than speculate.

I have no idea what to expect tomorrow although pretty sure we may see a large range in trading, hopefully we close at the top. We shall have to wait and see as always.

It does not make sense to me that this was leaked and caused the SP to rise. I think it may be more likely that the rise in SP was just because it was due, and POET halted the trading as the price could not go much higher without causing issues with the aquisition (i.e. the $1 valuation for the shares in the deal), but who knows.

One thing to note about the reference to money in the NR, I think the currency in some references is Singapore dollars, for example ".... fruits of an investment in excess of (S) $50 Million", and "... sum total of POET Shares issued to cover debt will be the equivalent of about (S) $ 2,537,368 in addition to about (S) $1,689,353 in cash to be paid over a 9 month period". The "(S)" means Singapore dollars (I think). Note that 1 Singapore Dollar = 0.74 US Dollars.

Good luck tomorrow!!
