Good quote indeed! Sure, they are not unrelated, as Babaoriley pointed out, but they can diverge considerably and for a long time. However, over the long term, the stock will follow the company.

That's why I am focusing on the company, its technological advances, market prospects etc. The share price doesn't worry me a bit and won't give me a single sleepless night.
