They probably know POET will be out with their new stuff so this may be their frontal to confuse and imply. It will mean that POET will probably have to explain the differences and advantages of their approach

Which is exactly what they will be doing anyway, without any prompting from Intel. I'm sure we'll be seeing a barrage of industry articles explaining POET to the top-level techies, and then that stuff will eventually filter down through to more mainstream magazines. Perhaps this is where Robert Ferri will prove his mettle - in the management of the simplified message about this complex technology.
