I've been reading the posts from this morning and last evening. Regrettably, there appears to be growing concern about a number of items and usually at this point I typically tune out for a while knowing the following:
- Ajit, Suresh & Subhash....brilliant minds joining POET.....hmmm !!!
- TB and the TRAB.....hmmm !!!
I know that is only two items but those two items alone hold a lot of weight for me but getting back the comments on the board.....one struck me as rather thought provoking. It was stated the we will "uplist to NASDAQ" when it is advantageous to do" or when it is in the best interests of the shareholders.
What is bothering me about that statement which I believe was made during the September CC, would it not be advantageous to be on the NASDAQ now? What could possibly be happening that it would not be advantageous to be on the NASDAQ now? Or, what could possibly be happening that it would be more advantageous to uplist later?
I'm really not sure that I want to try and answer those questions since it leads to both ends of the emotional spectrum but I am very curious that a statement would be phrased like that.
I for one would have rather had them say "at the present time, our share price does not qualify for an uplist, we are reluctant to implement a RS when we believe that the execution of our business plan will result in an uplist to NASDAQ.
Now i understand that leads to the next question from everyone.......WHEN?
I just think it will happen in due course and perhaps we will be advised or know more from the January CC but sufficed to say, putting out a NR about another new VP or whatever, isn't that material. Granted it shows continued progress to establishing the workforce but that's just housekeeping stuff.
As I said some time ago, based on management's timelines, we're close to a more granular update so RELAX and enjoy the season
