The conclusion of our exchange then is that the Ring Oscilator is to be used as a testing device. Clearly this is important for our multi billion $ potential customer, and for POET too, to establish just how fast the machine code instructions can be run. But it appears that the RO is not on the critical path for the development of PET or POET.

My point is that progress towards a PET prototype may benearer that we thought and may not be as affected by the Splutter Machine not Splutering. Perhaps we will all be pleasantly surprised how nearr a PET prototype is to being completed.
