Can't we all accept that however much we try to convince Joel, he will remain blinkered and asinine about POET. He simply refuses to admit it has potential at all.
Poor Joel, has to make his living composing articles that gets sufficient hits to receive payment. He is rooted in silicon and since he has invested so much in understanding it and the players involved he simply does not have the time to re-gig his mental machinery to a new approach; any alternative to what he understands is an anathema to him. e.g. He clearly did not have time or bother to read and understand the POET materiel pointed out to him many moons ago.
Let’s face it, it’s not easy to dig up vast amounts of work published by others in their company materiel then plagiarise it to look fresh as if he just invented it. He writes well but as regards POET he is going to have to fall over the cliff to accept it. No we simply have wound him up too much. So let’s please just leave him stew in his own juices folks, he will have to eat his words in due course and then we can be very magnanimous about it.
The point about the Joel phenomena is that we must realise that there will be opposition to change from many quarters. We need people with courage and foresight to adopt POET
