Nice story! Showing how discussions with potential customers could go back and forth, could eventually proceed, how requirements evolve and change over time, and, depending on that, timelines.

Regarding requirements and timelines, I think it was beneficial to them, their product and their customers, that they didn't listen to any of their shareholders or any discussion forums on the Internet! ;-)
