Doodlebug: If the VCSEL and Ring Oscillator and integrational abilities are proven, does this confirm the technology beyond question?

Well, sort of, but not quite. The ring oscillator alone should confirm that POET is a viable replacement for Silicon CMOS. And the VCSEL adds optics to the game.

The electrical/optical integration is on this year's roadmap, but without a date yet and thus not for Q1:

However, even without integration ring oscillator and VCSEL should blow away enough of the doubt …
