I think that for tax reasons they will keep it listed as a Cnd company. Many US companies are looking at ways to relocate their "head office" to Canada. They already have their head office here so to speak. My concern would be RRSP and TFSA implications - I hope that if they did move, that it would not affect our purchases and have to pay the US tax man.

I do agree with you that we have areas such as Kitchener/Waterloo and Kanata that can provide some support, but in reality - they do need a major presence in Silicon Valley at this time.
