Now THAT"S what I like to read just before supper - or any time of day, actually.
Like Eileen's tome of a few days past, Derek's is a strikingly cogent description and analysis of the Poet/Pet condition. Perfectly delivered in lay terms, I might add.
From this perspective, it is quite difficult (if not impossible) to see how any vertical of the semi-conductor business will not eventually be powered by Poet.....niche, mainstream or otherwise. Manufacturers will simply have too much to lose by not matching the power/speed of their competitors' computing devices.
The only thing that I can think of that may slow or inhibit Poet's proliferation across all sectors is the liklihood of foundry/manufacturer exclisivity in the early goings.
Enjoy our transition to the new year...please be safe.
