A botox company just got taken out for 66 blllion dollars.
Consider that in order to book that appointment...you'll might need a cell-phone, which could one day be powered by POET. The botox clinic will need to save your appointment in a computer, along with the technician...potentially powered by POET.
The car you drive to the appointment will have a chip in it...could be POET. Maybe even the system that programs the traffic lights to get there...could one day be a POET verticle.
Just putting valuations in perspective. No one can say what the future holds, but simply dismissing a dollar figure is a bit silly. If people are throwing around that kind of dough in an industry that is DWARFED by the Semi-Miliatry sector, why couldn't one dream of a big play from someone vigorously defending their market share?
