It's all made up.

Someone is circulating these rumours for reasons I can only guess. It's hard to imagine someone slobbering over 75 cent warrants right now.

Maybe those who are spreading these lies think they are helping - trying to lift the SP on false hope - just until a real development is announced. Maybe they have just placed their trust in the wrong people who have no feelings one way or the other about misleading others for their own gain.

One thing is certain, they were not around in 2011 when we were fed similar bull about RIM making a Top-Secret smartphone that will be powered by solar and use a POET chip to perform all functions. It may sound stupid now, but it had everything investors wanted at the time: Use for both POET and solar, and for the cherry on our sundae, all done by a fellow Canadian company.

As I said, they were not here in 2011, or they would be more wary of information coming from an unknown source that will launch the SP beyond the clear blue sky.

Please note that I am not responding directly to anyone who may have shared the info yesterday - I barely read the forum yesterday. But I have been exposed to the information fueling that rumour, so I'm commenting about the psychopath who originally composed it.

Please also note that I hold my shares thinking that we will eventually be somewhere above the clouds. I just don't think that POET is so leaky that I would hear about it on this forum.
