It is kind of amazing to think that this is how all of this got started, Dr Taylor was working on gaAs solar cells when he discovered if you put electricity in you get light out, he used that to create the technologhy they now have to make cell phones or computers energy efficent enough to use those same type of solar cells to recharge the computers or phones they are running.
