I can't claim to be an expert having only spent about 5min giving it a once-over.

This appears to be a case similar to what Lee S described at the IBK meeting last Jan. It's a one-trick pony. Many who have only glanced at POET thing that they are only in the business of developing transceivers, switches, etc.

If I was to show the relationship between what POET is doing and what Lightwave is doing it would look like this:

POET is B.

Why would anyone deal with A, if B could do A and C and D and E ....
