I understand your sentiment, but the question has always been which route will make investors the most money.

I think we all agree that the licencing route is the correct answer.

Nothing begins with a revenue stream; first an idea, then development, then a marketing agreement of some sort, then revenue.

POET is not unique in this regard.

POET is about to enter the final stage. Yes, someone will want to buy them, almost certainly. But with the millions that Shelly owns, as well as the millions the other board members hold, I wouldn't count on a sale.

That being said, we're all old enough to know everything is for sale....just how much?

They know what this is worth, and it ain't cheap.

Certainly not $7B, like a video game..
