'Select' may also mean non-competitors and/or "not" potential competitors, not just in relation to Poet's technology or company status, but also in relation to BAE or other Poet-aligned companies (not sure if there are any, just sayin').

I'm also wondering if select may also mean some "best-of-breed" partners for the various vertical silos/sectors for either licensing or chip adoption.....
